SCALING SOLAR AND BATTERY STORAGE IN THE UK
Creating stable, long-term value through renewable energy assets.
Active Energy Group (“AEG”) is focused on developing rooftop and ground-mounted solar and battery storage projects across the UK. Our model is built around securing sites, delivering renewable energy projects, and entering into long-term Power Purchase Agreements (“PPAs”) with commercial landlords or tenants. These contracts provide stable, inflation-linked revenues and support AEG’s transition into an owner-operator of renewable energy assets, generating sustainable income for shareholders.
Current Pipeline
AEG has a pipeline of projects at advanced stages of development. This represents the first phase of a wider programme that will deliver both immediate progress and a clear pathway for scale.
Near-Term Milestone
To demonstrate our model, AEG is completing its first operational deployment. This will showcase the ability to deliver operating projects and subsequently refinance them with third-party lenders, recycling equity into further developments.
Strategic Advantage – Expertise
AEG is supported by specialist renewable energy expertise, ensuring best-in-class delivery of solar and battery projects. This expertise enhances the Group’s ability to identify, structure, and deliver high-quality commercial-scale projects, strengthening its competitive position in the sector.
Long-Term Strategy
AEG’s vision is to become a significant owner and operator of income-generating renewable energy projects. The strategy is to:
- Develop and hold projects with inflation-linked revenues
- Build a portfolio that generates recurring, stable cashflows
- Refinance operating portfolios to release capital for new developments while retaining long-term exposure to contracted revenues
This approach combines near-term growth with sustainable, long-term value creation.
Conclusion
AEG is entering a new growth phase, underpinned by:
- A strong pipeline of renewable energy projects
- A clear and repeatable model for long-term income generation
- Experienced sector expertise to ensure successful delivery
- A scalable portfolio aligned with the clean energy transition
Strategic Pillars
The Board has adopted a clear and focused strategy built on three core pillars. First, AEG will allocate up to 30% of its working capital and treasury reserves into digital assets, primarily Bitcoin, to hedge against inflation and currency devaluation while benefiting from growing institutional adoption. Second, through its patented CoalSwitch® technology, the Group is advancing the commercial roll-out of a clean biomass fuel that converts waste into a high-energy coal replacement, with permitting secured and pilot production in place ahead of broader expansion. Third, AEG is developing a diversified pipeline of UK renewable energy projects, including solar, battery storage, and vertical axis wind turbines, with initial construction targeted in the coming years. Together, these pillars provide a balanced platform for growth across digital assets, clean fuel innovation, and renewable infrastructure development.
